We were honored to have the President of the National
Education Association, Mrs. Lily Garcia, visit our classroom on Wednesday. Mrs.
Garcia was quite impressed with the smart little honeybees in Room 161.
Mrs. Garcia shook everyone's hand. She also gave us a message
from President Obama and allowed us to give a message to her to send back to
him!
We are so proud and honored that she was able to spend some
time with us!
To show our appreciation, we made her a special book to say
thank you.
