Reading and Math Fun With a Grouchy Ladybug!

Our class has been learning about time. Ms. Bee taught us a fun lesson about telling time to the hour and half hour. We got to make our own clocks that looked like ladybugs. We also got to complete fun time games using our cool clocks. We read the book The Grouchy Ladybug and got to move our clocks to the correct times as we read the story. Learning about time is so much fun!

100th Day of School!

We are 100 days smarter! We had so much fun learning about the number 100 and finding ways to make and collect 100 items. We made lots of crafts and worked on special 100th Day activities which helped to make our 100th day of 1st grade awesome!

Student Success Expo Fun!

Our school had a special booth at the SCCPSS Student Success Expo. Hailey and Aubriana represented the Medical & Allied Health Specialty students at our school. We are so proud of our classmates for representing the future doctors, nurses, and medical leaders in our school.

Happy New Year!

Our New Year started off great! We learned about new year's resolutions and setting and reaching realistic goals. We also illustrated our resolutions and wrote sentences to reflect our ideas. Our day ended with a special countdown and a fun New Year's Day Celebration!

Our school has moved into our new building! We are so excited to be in our new school in our new classroom! We are truly buzzing with our learning in our new bee-themed classroom!
